1. A responsible adult must supervise the equipment at all times.
2. Ensure that no one with history of back or neck problems are allowed on the bouncy castles.
3. An equipment has an age limit of 14 years of age unless stated otherwise or is specifically made for all ages. Please ensure no one over the age allowed uses the equipment.
4. No food or drinks to be consumed on the equipment (to avoid choking and mess)
5. All shoes, badges, jewellery, (i.e. large earrings or necklaces) MUST be removed. It is recommended that spectacles are also removed.
6. Adults must remove high-heeled shoes before stepping on the mats.
7. No Face paints, party poppers, coloured streams or “silly string” must be used near or on the equipment, as they can make a terrible mess and permanently stain the equipment.
8. No smoking, BBQ's, glass or animals on or near the equipment.
9. No climbing, hanging or sitting on the walls or roof must be allowed as it is extremely DANGEROUS.
10. Slides should be used in a sitting position, feet first – do not allow any jumping from the top of the slide.
11. Ensure that equipment like bouncy castle is not overcrowded, and limit the numbers depending on the age and size of the children using it. If the children are colliding into each other then it is too overcrowded.
12. Try to avoid larger children and small children from using the equipment at the same time. Some children does require strict supervision.
13. If the inflatable is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower off at the mains, this will reduce your electric bill!
14. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the step/front apron. The step is there to help users to get on and off.
15. Ensure that the mats supplied with the equipment remain where they were positioned during the installation.
16. We will NOT setup in the event of the rain or high wind including gust over 24 mph. We have the right to come and take down any equipment during the party/event if we believe it is unsafe to be used.
17. Do not allow users to be on the main unit during set up, inflation or deflation.
18. Equipment must not be moved from the place it have been set up and must be secured to the ground at all times.
19. In the event of the rain please remove children from the equipment and place a table or similar object over the blower to prevent water from being blown inside the unit and remove a disco lamp (if supplied) to avoid the damage to the lamp. Do not switch the blower off. Once rain has stopped please ensure entrance and exit of the equipment is dried with the towel before children are allowed back on the equipment as surface can become very slippery.
20. No water or any other liquid to be sprayed onto the equipment (other than reasonable amount of water for cleaning purposes) as it causes the surface of the equipment to become slippery, damages soft play and can result in subsequent bookings being cancelled if the equipment is too wet to be delivered. If equipment is deliberately soaked you will be charged double your hire fee to cover our costs in subsequent cancelled bookings and drying time.
21. In the event of power loss immediately remove children from the unit and switch off at the mains and then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later and it should restart, there is a reset button on the provided extension lead, press the button to reset the circuit. If it does not turn on or there is a power cut, inform us IMMEDIATELY.
22. Ensure that blower is standing up and the vent on the side of the blower is kept clear at all times.
23. No children are allowed in the back of the inflatable or near the blower.
24. Fun 4 U Bouncy Castles must be advised as soon as possible in the event of any injury requiring professional medical treatment. Treatment must be sought within 2 hours of the injury occurring and detailed record of the incident and treatment must be provided to Fun 4 U Bouncy Castles.
